Our goal is to produce tasty products that enrich our lives and our food. We attach great importance to natural ingredients and the avoidance of unnecessary ingredients. We founded a delicatessen factory 20 years ago to save and process surpluses and unusable leftovers from our own agricultural production.
While searching for recipes for other delicacies, we came across a 1.000 year old mustard recipe of the kings and emperors of Germany. We started our family business with this recipe 18 years ago.
At that time there was no sugar, so the mustard was sweetened with regional honey. Likewise, there was no brandy vinegar yet, but there was good fruit vinegar. We use regional horseradish for that extra kick of spice.
Today we season and flavor our fine Quedlinburg mustard according to this medieval recipe. A beekeeper from the neighboring village supplies us with good beekeeper honey.
We regularly welcome visitors to our Quedlinburg mustard factory. Come and visit us for a guided tour of the factory!
