While searching for a recipe, we came across a 1,000 year old mustard recipe. We started with this recipe 15 years ago.
At that time there was no sugar, but the mustard was given a little sweetness with regional honey. There was also no brandy vinegar, but good fruit vinegar. Regional horseradish was used for a special kick.
Today we season and taste our fine Quedlinburg mustard according to this medieval recipe. A beekeeper from the neighboring village supplies us with good beekeeping honey.
