In contrast to conventional silk processing, the caterpillars that spin the silk cocoons continue their life after metamorphosis as moths. The Tussah silk has a special "grainy" surface. The fabric feels crisp and gets softer with wear. The natural golden shimmer of Tussah silk can be seen in the undyed areas. The light gray scarf has a graphic pattern consisting of large circles that are arranged asymmetrically. The classic and at the same time modern design was created by using the block printing technique, in which carved wooden blocks are used to transfer the desired motif to the textile surface. It is one of the traditional printing techniques in India. The yarn was spun by hand and processed into a scarf on hand looms. The weave is fine and noble. This combines traditional manufacturing methods with a modern graphic design. This symbiosis makes this cloth a real work of art. Silk is also a very tear-resistant fiber that is durable.
