Razors from the Galician Rias cooked and paired with olive oil. Real Conservera canned razor clams are of supreme quality. Real Conservera razors come from markets that obtain their product mainly from the Ría de Arousa and Vigo (Cíes Islands), where the best quality is found. When you open the can of razor clams, you see the pearly white viands with brown edges, covered in the high-quality covering liquid cooked from onion, lemon, salt, and bay leaf. To ensure the quality of this preserve, the razors go through a very careful selection, cleaning and preparation process. In the first place, it is made with a prior manual selection of the best specimens that are directly subjected to a natural purification process in seawater to remove the sand. Afterwards, the razors are eviscerated and canned one by one, manually and with all the care and delicacy that this excellent product requires. These preserves must be kept in a dry place at room temperature to ensure their durability. If we keep them in the right place, these preserves will maintain their quality and flavor for 4 years. For consumption, we recommend tasting the razor clams directly from the can. Ideally, put the can on ice or in the freezer 5-10 minutes before opening for consumption. The ideal pairing to accompany this product is white Albariño wine.
