Genmaicha is a Japanese green tea preparation that contains roasted and partially puffed rice grains. Genmai means brown rice and cha stands for tea. Genmaicha can therefore be translated as "rice tea". Bancha green tea was used in our Genmaicha. Preparation: Put eight grams of Genmaicha in a pot, boil one liter of bubbly water, let it cool for three minutes in a closed kettle and cover the infusion for two minutes. You get a delicious, malty-mild tea in a golden-green color. Always store in a cool, dry, airtight and light-tight place.
