The Beating Heart of Organic Puglia In the heart of Puglia, near Gioia del Colle, lies one of the regions most suited to the production of the famous Primitivo.   On reddish and rocky soils, the iconic heart-shaped trees stand, jealous guardians of the Primitivo bunches that ripen inside them.   This peculiar form of cultivation carefully protects the precious grapes from generous sunlight.       Responsible Cultivation: The Primitivo bunches, grown at low altitude, ripen earlier than other vines in the area, giving the wine an early elegance.   The name "Primitivo" derives precisely from this characteristic, which allows red grapes to be brought to the cellar before all the others.       The Art of Organic Winemaking: The first red wine from Scuderia Italia's organic line comes to life from rare bunches of vines over seventy years old cultivated with saplings, and others thirty years old cultivated with spurred cordon.   The red soil, rich in iron oxides, holds a layer of limestone rock beneath it.   The care of this special land without the use of invasive products is an act of love and passion, for the environment, the wine and those who enjoy it.       A Unique Sensory Bouquet: The elegant aromas of blackberry, raspberry, black cherry, cherry, plum and ripe plum are combined with delicate floral notes of violet, with hints of thyme, tobacco, dried fruit and liquorice.   The enveloping base of aromatic herbs and graphite completes a unique sensorial bouquet.       Authentic and Refined Taste: A fresh and balanced taste, despite over 15 degrees of alcohol, reveals velvety tannins and juicy freshness.   Emerging on the palate with wonderful olfactory notes, the Primitivo Puglia PGI Scuderia Italia Bio offers a long, almost interminable, coherent and rich finish.   This organic wine is an authentic wine experience, a declaration of love for the land and the refined palate.
