Porcelain statue depicting a little girl sitting on a red armchair, wearing winter clothes and wearing a green hat. She holds her head resting on one hand, while her big eyes look perhaps a little bored at the world that passes in front of her. These items are entirely made and hand painted in Italy. The clothes are thin sheets of porcelain, on which textures are imprinted and which are cut according to the model and applied to the body of the figure, piece by piece, just as the hair and accessories are then applied. The faces, clothes and accessories are painted on the "bisque" terracotta, and this color therefore involves a further firing called "third fire". Any further details such as violin strings or wasp stands are applied at this point to the finished piece.
