•40x40 cm or 50x50 cm in size • hand-woven cushion cover made from natural cotton • Perfect as a decorative eye-catcher on a bed or sofa • lovingly packaged plastic-free • 100% handmade and fair trade Our Rahayu cushion cover is hand-woven by experienced weavers on traditional looms from the finest, natural cotton.   The natural color of the material is preserved and is highlighted even better thanks to the subtle striped pattern.    With its puristic yet attractive appearance, the cushion fits seamlessly into your living style and creates a soft and modern atmosphere.   Rahayu can also be beautifully combined with other patterned cushion covers, such as our Seraja and Flores, to add extra sophistication to your living space.    The pillowcase is available in two sizes: 40x40 and 50x50 cm and is equipped with a practical envelope closure on the back, which allows the pillow to be easily inserted and removed.   To maintain the quality of the pillowcase, we recommend gentle hand washing with cold water.   Bleaching and direct drying in the sun should also be avoided. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Mass weight: (length x width) -40x40cm; 0.15kg -50x50cm; 0.19kg -------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Material: cotton Our pillowcases are made from plant fibers.   They therefore smell and feel wonderfully natural.    We use cotton from local farmers in Java for our products.   The cotton fields are naturally fertilized and the cotton bolls are picked by hand.   The cotton is then separated from the capsule in a ginning machine.   The cotton obtained is pressed into bales, combed and spun into yarn by hand.   After the yarn has been spun, the craftsmen process it by hand on traditional wooden looms.   Cotton is characterized by its absorbency and skin-friendliness.   Our cotton is not chemically processed and is therefore not suitable for the tumble dryer.   The products should be ironed at low temperatures. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Place of production: This cushion cover is handmade in Java, Indonesia.   When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions.   Only adult and experienced artisans work in the companies from which we purchase our goods.   No harmful chemicals are used during production.   Since all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process hardly produces any greenhouse gas emissions.   We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
