Due to hand manufacturing and natural variations in materials, they may vary slightly in size, color and shape. -------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Main material: rattan Rattan palms usually grow in large numbers in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants that take up space from other plants and draw a lot of nutrients from the soil. The stems, which grow back quickly without any chemical aids, must be cut off regularly and can then be used as material for furniture and baskets after the drying process. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable and abundant material. Other material: metal frame -------------------------------------------------- ------------------- Place of production: This lamp is handmade in Bali, Indonesia. When selecting our local producers, we value fair pay and good working conditions. Only adult and experienced artisans work in the companies from which we purchase our goods. No harmful chemicals are used during production. Since all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process hardly produces any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
