Our vegan version Pennette pasta "Cacio e pepe" represent a perfect choice for those who want to enjoy a tasty and cruelty-free dish. Servings: 2 Cooking time: 10-12 min. PREPARATION: bring to a boil 600ml of water and 2 or more tablespoons of oil in a non-stick pot or pan. Pour the content of the package, cover and cook over medium-low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add more water if required. Takwe the lid off and continue to cook for 2 minutes or more UNTIL THE WATER IS ALMOST COMPLETELY ABSORBED AND THE SAUCE IS CREAMY. Add salt and extra virgin olive oil and let it rest for 1 minute before serving. SUGGESTIONS: add 1/4 glass of white wine into the boiling water. WINE-PAIRING: red wines.
