The sound of the Indian Ocean... …brings this funny dolphin into your home. The colorful animal figure is made entirely from recycled flip-flops. The organization OceanSole collects the sandals washed up on the coasts of Africa and has local artists make colorful figures from them. More than 400,000 flip-flops are recycled every year! At the same time, people from Nairobi and various poorer Kenyan areas who work at OceanSole have fair career prospects. The dolphin is made from recycled sandal rubber. Even the eyes and fins are made of the material! Each product is handmade and therefore unique. The appearance and nature of the material can therefore vary slightly.
