The motley animal figure consists entirely of recycled flip-flops, which the OceanSole organization collects permanently on the coasts of Africa. Every year hundreds of thousands of flip-flops are turned into great colorful design objects by local artists and at the same time many people from Nairobi and other Kenyan areas receive fair, long-term and sustainable professional prospects at OceanSole. The fish was made from recycled sandal rubber. Even fins and eyes are made of the material! The figure was made from 4 flip-flops. Each product is handmade and therefore unique. The look and texture of the material can therefore vary somewhat.
