The organization OceanSole collects the sandals washed up on the coasts of Africa and has local artists make colorful figures from them. More than thousands of flip-flops are recycled every year! At the same time, the people employed at OceanSole from Nairobi and various Kenyan areas have a fair, permanent and sustainable professional perspective. The penguin was made from recycled sandal rubber from 7 flip-flops. Each product is handmade and therefore unique. The look and texture of the material can therefore vary somewhat.
