A touch of Maassai Mara… …brings this proud zebra into your living room. The colorful animal figure consists entirely of recycled flip-flops. The organization OceanSole collects the sandals washed up on the coasts of Africa and has local artists make colorful figures from them. 400,000 flip-flops are recycled every year! At the same time, people from poorer areas of Nairobi and Kenyan coastal areas who work at OceanSole have fair career prospects. The zebra is made from recycled sandal rubber. Even the tail, ears and eyes are made of the material! Each product is handmade and therefore unique. The appearance and nature of the material can therefore vary slightly.
