Bordeaux – Médoc – Château Hourbanon special cuvée

2014, the year of hail, I lost 85% of my harvest, but as usual, I turned this disaster into an opportunity. On the scale of the entire production of the vintage, I made an exceptional cuvée. The maturity was pushed to completion and the quality of the vintage was there. I pushed the extraction to its maximum and obtained a wine with an exceptional level of concentration. This super powerful wine was then matured in a very special way, it took no less than 31 months of aging in barrels to polish this rough diamond! The result is a very concentrated wine, combining power, finesse, richness, complexity, elegance etc.
