CERTIFIED ORGANIC & FAIR TRADE SUITABLE FOR BULK SALE The Lérida VIJAYA Fig originates from western Turkey (Aydin) and comes from the Good Food Foundation organic project; foundation supported by VIJAYA since its creation in 1986. It is certified fair trade by FairTSA. The different figs from Turkey differ in their method of preparation. Each designation (Baglama, Lérida and Protoben) refers not to a variety of fig, but to its method of preparation. The Lérida Fig comes in a slightly flattened shape, to give it the appearance of a puck. Its generous caliber gives it a unique softness. HOW TO CONSUME IT: Plain, as a snack, as an aperitif. Incorporated into a dessert (e.g. rice pudding, pies, cakes, cakes, purees or fruit salads, etc.). In energy balls. As an alternative to sugar, in small cubes, in dairy products and mueslis.
