The Asinerie du Pays des Collines is a family business created in 1998.
The Pays des Collines cultivates a rural tradition and its geography alternates between thickets and round hills.
Located in the north-western part of the Province of Hainaut, on the edge of the Flemish region, it stands out between the vast plains of southern Brussels and eastern Picardy Wallonia.
The Asinerie du Pays des Collines has a herd of more than 100 donkeys.
Our quality breeding is internationally renowned, our donkeys are found with enthusiasts in different European countries. The traceability of our donkeys is infallible because we know the genealogy of each of them.
Our breeding techniques are old fashioned: we do not practice artificial insemination and donkeys do not receive preventive medication (antibiotics for example).
At the Asinerie, each equine has a name, they are part of the family!
In addition to large stables, the Asinerie operates 50 hectares of meadows where donkeys can snort and live in the open air.
On the food side, our donkeys are fed on hay, cereals and grass which they graze on meadows.
We are self-sufficient in milk production and therefore benefit from quality control within the company.
To harvest the milk, milking is done manually, with confidence and with respect for the donkeys.

Donkey milk is rich in vitamins, minerals, trace elements and essential fatty acids (omega 6). Omega 6 makes the skin naturally more supple,

All our donkey milk production is found in our soaps and cosmetics: the equivalent of 27% donkey milk in our soaps,
20% in cleansing products (bath cream, shower gel and shampoo) and 10% in care products.
These proportions skillfully developed in collaboration with our cosmetology laboratory give a balanced and homogeneous product.
Our treatments have an excellent, pleasant texture and penetrate well into the skin.
