Our Lard matured in marble basins for at least 6 months, with adding chilli. The top is covered with a thickness of sea salt, orange looking for the chilli pepper and the spices it is soaked in. The thickness of the piece varies from 4 to 8 cm. FUN FACT:  A study published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology and coordinated by the IRCCS epidemiologists Neuromed of Pozzilli, in collaboration with the Higher Institute of Healthcare, the University of Insubria in Varese and the Cardiocentro Mediterranean of Naples, found that using 4 o several times a week is associated with a reduction in risk overall death rate of 23%, a reduction in the risk of death for heart attack by 40%, and a reduction of more than half the risk of stroke.
