Our name Ararat Biber refers to Mount Ararat, the highest mountain in the Middle East (with 5,137 m), a place located in the far east of Turkey, in Mesopotamia, steeped in history, crossroads of civilizations for millennia .
As for the name "Biber" it is simply the translation of pepper in Turkish.
When the Ararat Biber project was launched in 2021 in Ağrı in Türkiye, our main objective was to offer our customers a range of typical Turkish peppers of the highest quality and grown with respect for nature and its occupants.
Made by pepper lovers for pepper lovers, we offer organic peppers whose goal is to transport you to the ancestral and authentic Türkiye for a meal.
At Ararat Biber we continuously travel the country, between large cities, highlands and small mountain villages, in order to taste and select the best varieties of products in terms of taste, aroma, intensity, and quality, in the respect for Turkish culinary culture.
Ararat Biber is a creative and ambitious young Turkish company with less than fifty employees, specializing in the cultivation, packaging and sale of organic chillies for the B 2 B and B 2 C markets.
