For more than 20 years, we produce and market our premium Atlantic salts under the brands Marisol® and Flos Salis® from our premises in the Eastern Algarve. Our Sal Tradicional and Flor de Sal come from responsibly managed traditional salt pans, situated in natural estuaries in the Ria Formosa and Castro Marim nature reserves.
All our salts originate by natural evaporation, are gathered by hand and left to dry naturally by sun and wind. Even our processing is reduced to a minimum and consists of manual picking to remove impurities, gentle grinding for traditional salt and packing by hand.
