O.E.L has been committed to producing organic, single-variety, extra virgin Koroneiki olive oil for many years.
The production of our organic oil takes place in Andania near Kalamata in the Peloponnese in Greece.
Our olives are harvested exclusively by hand and processed into oil in a contractually bound oil mill under our supervision. This processing is done by centrifuge, the oil is cold extracted within a few hours after harvest and filled into UV-protected and temperature-insulated canisters. Preserving the taste of the olive, as well as all of its ingredients and avoiding the occurrence of chemical processes are our top priority.
The oil of the small green Koroneiki olive is considered one of the highest quality olive oils in the world due to its rich ingredients. The clear cultivation share of approx. 60% of 100% of all Greek olive varieties clearly shows the preference of the Greeks and the unbroken high demand. And while the taste of our oil continues to attract attention, its quality is proven by numerous participations in international olive oil competitions.
