Organic hulled millet 5kg bag

This beautiful golden seed has very interesting nutritional values. It is considered a starch in the diet, and it is naturally gluten-free. Currently, the majority of organic millet is imported from Eastern Europe. Unable to compete, our French farmers are struggling to develop this crop that requires little water. Preparation tips : Rinse the seed thoroughly then place it in a large volume of boiling water salted (1 glass of millet per person maximum) for 12 minutes. Once cooked, the millet will go wonderfully with your dishes in sauce, your stuffings, soups. It tastes very very cold in a salad or tabbouleh, but also with milk as a dessert. NB: Before rinsing, you can toast the millet to increase its crunch. For this, throw the seeds in a very hot frying pan (without fat), then leave cook 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
