The Gutturnio Superiore, in the still version, is the brother of the sparkling Gutturnio with D.O.C Colli Piacentini certification. GRAPES – Gutturnio Superiore La Ciocca is made up of 60% Barbera and 40% Bonarda, locally known as Croatina. The two vines have very ancient history and roots and give soft and long-lived wines with very complex olfactory sensations. VINIFICATION – Gutturnio Superiore La Ciocca is fermented in stainless steel tanks, both with indigenous yeasts and with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature. Aging in stainless steel for 3 months and subsequent aging in the bottle for 2 months; slight froth. DESCRIPTION – Gutturnio Superiore with a dark ruby red color, violet hues, intact chromium plating, clean elegant wine with consistent grape fruit. Dry and pleasantly fruity wine, with notes of morello cherry and cherry, fresh and with excellent gustatory balance; perfect acidity. A wine with an important structure, excellent in combination with barbecued and grilled meats such as suckling pig and porchetta.
