
Ortrugo, a wine born from a recovered vine, is a white wine, very common in the Piacenza area. GRAPES – The Ortrugo takes its name from the same vine that was previously used as a blending grape. VINIFICATION – The Ortrugo Frizzante follows a soft pressing in the absence of oxygen and fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks for 5-5 days with both indigenous and selected yeasts. The refinement takes place in stainless steel tanks for 4 months and subsequent 3 months in the bottle. DESCRIPTION – L'Ortrugo Frizzante, with a pale straw yellow color, greenish hues, clear and brilliant chrome. The taste is soft, moderately fruity with a non-invasive bubble. Easy to drink and excellent in combination with cured meats, creamed risottos, savory pastas, white meat and fish.
