Barbera d'Asti finds interpretation in a rich range of wines, characterized by well-defined styles. This SUPERIOR version matures in large barrels to improve complexity while respecting tradition. Barbera d'Asti is a wine linked to ancient peasant traditions, which has been able to renew itself to meet different needs and tastes. Today it undoubtedly represents, and perhaps more than any other wine, a product in continuous evolution, which grows following the new knowledge in the viticultural and oenological field and which, in terms of quality and numbers, can be offered to a curious, demanding and vast public at the same time. It is fully considered one of the most important Italian red wines and is gaining increasing acclaim at an international level. It obtained the DOCG in 2008.
