
The olive groves of the Nikolopoulos estate are located in the Kalamata region of Messinia, at an ideal altitude, on windy and sunny hillsides with limestone subsoil. The globally recognized qualities of Messinian oil are due to the subsoil (limestone), the variety of olive oil (Koronéïki) and the venerable age of the olive trees (centenaries) in the region. The olive harvest is done by hand, between December and January. They are then taken to the village's ecological mill, where the oil comes from the first cold extraction. This exceptional olive oil is produced by the Nikolopoulos family only from fresh olives from their estate, of the Koronéïki variety. A fine, fruity, very digestible single-varietal oil with low acidity, it is an authentic pure juice from the fruit of the olive tree, made with care and passion. It has been awarded several times, notably ranked No. 1 at the international olive oil fair in Athens, and voted Best Organic Product 2018 and 2024 in France.
