Produced from raw materials from Hauts-de-France, it develops all its aromas. Established since 1650 in the center of the town of Armentières, the brasserie de l'étoile, which has become Motte-Cordonnier, has grown over the centuries. Damaged and then totally destroyed during the 1st World War, René Motte asked engineers and architects to build an industrial castle in 1920 using the most modern techniques of the time. This special brew honors all the visionary and committed players who, 100 years later, bequeath this historic monument to Armentières. Armentières, 1650. The MOTTE-CORDONNIER Brewery has the Brewers Star as its emblem. This star still adorns many cafes and the brewery building. The 10th generation is pleased to introduce you to its Brown beer, the BEER OF THE 100 YEARS OF THE BEFFROI.  The First World War destroyed the entire factory.
