Our history
CASA DO ASHÉ means the house of light. We devote ourselves to Brazilian indigenous and African traditions such as Candomblé and Catimbó. We give the traditions a voice. We dedicate our time to preserving the knowledge of these Afro-Brazilian traditions. Our products and concepts are worlds of experience that allow our customers an easy and modern entry into these millennia-old traditions.
We are Brazilian with German roots and are based near Munich, Germany. Our ancestors lived in Brazil and we, as one of the very few Europeans, are privy to many of the secrets of these traditions. We are scientists and very connected to these magical traditions. So we are realists who believe in miracles.
We are modern city people who love the rainforest and feel a constant longing for sun and sand. We grew up with the famous Brazilian joie de vivre and body cult. Our products and treatments build on this: They are like the traditions from which they are fed - magical, mystical, powerful and at the same time life-affirming, self-absorbed, sun-kissed and full of life.
