SIPIAN - PETIT VERDOT 2018/2019/2020

Signature Wine, Petit Verdot is the signature of Château SIPIAN. The result of several years of research and meticulous work, this vintage is distinguished by its character and its typicality, between natural and pleasure. With this vintage, the idea was born to promote a grape variety that is often underestimated in blends. A high-end red will be born there, both a local wine, with the typicality of its soil revealing aromas of flint, and a distinguished wine reflecting the great nobility of Petit Verdot. Signature of Château SIPIAN asserts itself with a refined, generous and creamy style. An ambitious challenge with some spice. The SIPIAN - PV method: The 100% Petit Verdot also stands out for its growing methods, 100% adapted to its terroir. Adapting its yield to each of its plots, tailor-made grassing ensuring to generate competitiveness in our soils with the aim of obtaining the best maturity of our grapes. Harvested with the greatest respect, the grapes are then destemmed and crushed. The objective being to extract deep aromas of black fruits, the two fermentations are under temperature control. Very little handling, the wine is then aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. Château Sipian avoids any over-extraction and favors gentle extraction to obtain the most elegant nectars.
