Preparation based on chestnut honey harvested in Périgord and black garlic from our production. Black garlic is the result of a very slow caramelization of white garlic cloves following a long maturation in an oven in a humid environment (Maillard reaction). It is a sweet condiment - with a balsamic flavor for some, licorice or prune for others - very popular in Japan for its virtues and its umami. We combined it with the malty and woody notes of chestnut honey. HAS use like a chutney or an onion compote: - as a condiment with your meats (chicken skewers, duck breast, etc.) - with roasted vegetables, pan-fried mushrooms - to accompany your cheeses Artisanal production in Vendée, France. 40g jar
