Falernum is, historically, a liquor made from rum, lime, almonds and spices, originating from Barbados, created in the 18th century. The Distillerie d'Isle de France wanted to share with you its modern recipe for this little-known liqueur in France, by delivering its unsweetened version. Almond, ginger, lime and spices are macerated then distilled in a 500 liter Stupfler still to unite and offer you not a liqueur but a rum with exotic flavors, offering you a natural base for your Mojitos, Daiquiri, Rum Mule, Pina Colada and tutti quanti! There are different versions of Falernum in the world but the one from the Distillerie d'Isle de France stands out because you can consume it dry, on ice, in cocktails and even to cook your dishes and desserts.
