This 4th Small Batch at Compagnie des Indes is a UFO that deserves to be known. A blend between two origins of rum that could never have met. From a on one side Martinique with its pure juice rums and on the other side Thailand with its rums light but tasty. Distillation in a still with stainless steel column. A molasses and vesou base (pure juice of cane). Aged in a 50% tropical, 50% continental environment This vintage was bottled in 2023, in France without cold filtration. Tasting notes Nose: Freshly squeezed cane juice, appears first on the nose, then notes vegetables with licorice, menthol and madras curry. A hint of pear williams sublimates these scents. Mouth: It is straight and vegetal, in the same line as the nose. We find there barley sugar, acacia honey, amber, Vesou and finally a touch of flower orange tree Finish: Fleshy and spicy with hints of curry that linger. Country of origin: Martinique 5 years (January 2018) and Thailand 9 years (February 2014).
