Single wooden crate In the heart of the Cabardès AOP, the Château de Pennautier vineyard climbs the sunny and rocky hillsides of the Montagne Noire, where limestone and clay, Mediterranean heat, Atlantic influence and mountain freshness combine. This exceptional terroir with fresh limestone combines Atlantic (Cabernet, Merlot) and Mediterranean (Grenache, Syrah) influences for an ideal and unique climatic balance. The Château de Pennautier, an emblematic jewel of the Cabardès appellation, has been the historic cradle of the Lorgeril family for 12 generations. Its privileged geographical location, at the crossroads of Mediterranean and Atlantic influences, combines on the same high-altitude terroir a mixed grape variety from both regions and a dual influence: Atlantic freshness and Mediterranean warmth. This unique position on the southern slopes of the Montagne Noire, between 230 and 260 m above sea level, gives its wines an incomparable personality and aromatic complexity: fresh, elegant and distinguished, they combine, in the search for harmony, the aromas of scrubland and typically Mediterranean spices with notes of red and black fruits from Atlantic grape varieties.
