This Amalur Hegoa red wine is aged in the province of Navarre in Iguzkitza in the Basque Country. Labeled D.O. from Navarra. COLOR - Grenache produces generous, full-bodied wines with a red color and golden highlights. PALATE - A delicious and powerful red wine, expression of a unique territory. Intoxicating, these wines present aromas of red fruits and spices, giving a perfect balance to the wine. PAIRING - Ideal accompaniment to grilled meats and cheeses. Amalur wines pay homage to Ama Lur, the Earth Mother of Basque mythology, the mother of the Sun and the Moon, through two vintages produced in the high places of Basque wine culture; on the Irouléguy terroir in Lower Navarre, “Iparra” and in Iguzkitza in Navarre, “Hegoa”.
