The Finkenwerder Herbstprinz used for the apple brandy is actually grown in Finkenwerder. From the variety to the harvest, it is a typical North German plant. With its protected location, Finkenwerder has a special microclimate that is almost 14 days "ahead" of the surrounding fruit-growing area. This gives the late-ripening apple an extra portion of flavor before it is stored for a long time and processed into a special apple distillate. The apples come from organically certified cultivation. For one litre of single-variety apple brandy "Finkenwerder Herbstprinz" approx. 9kg apples processed. Ideal drinking temperature: 16 - 18 degrees.
