Bal de Madre red wine

Organic red wine Bal de Madre Tinto is a Portuguese red wine from the DOC Beira Interior region. First, the fresh grapes are picked by hand at their ideal stage of ripeness and bottled in 20 kg boxes. In the winery, the grapes are carefully selected, destemmed and gently pressed. Alcoholic fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Half of the batch is aged for 6 months in used French oak barrels. A ruby red color with a slight violet nuance, along with a complex aroma of red fruits such as cherries and strawberries with subtle balsamic notes characterize this wine.
