Bai Mu Dan White Tea (also known as Pai Mu Tan or White Peony) comes from the southeastern province of Jiangxi in China. This exclusive gourmet tea is made from the top two leaves and a bud, picked in early spring and dried in the sun before the buds open. The leaves of this organically grown tea range from green to brown with many buds showing a very light green almost gray-white color, covered with a delicate velvety down. The pale yellow infusion has a subtly lingering scent and a soft sweet and fruity aroma, with very little astringency. We recommend brewing the tea with 80-90C water to get the best flavor from this delicious tea!
