Île Four Limited Edition "Junmai DaiGinjo" is the masterpiece of our brewers - a true "Limited Edition" which is counted among the 3-4% best sake in the world by sake expert John Gauntner. Excellent sake rice (Yamadanishiki), a high polishing rate (50%) and a long fermentation at low temperatures make Île Four Limited Edition a Super Premium Sake comparable to special "single cask bottling" of high-end whiskeys, or very good wines. Île Four Limited Edition should be enjoyed cold and pure either as an aperitif or directly with food. Light, delicate, aromatic and very complex, this sake goes well with light dishes, fish or appetizers such as marinated shrimp, foie gras or Jamon Iberico. Star bartender Gregor Scholl also shows that our Limited Edition creates excellent cocktails - e.g. the Frog Signature Cocktail from le Croco Bleu in Berlin. 16% vol. tasting note Very fragrant; Melon and young grapes with hints of apple and berries and even some citrus in the niches.
