Our organic black peppercorns come from the Brazilian Amazon. The climate and lands of the Amazon are ideal for growing pepper brought back by Japanese migrants at the beginning of the 20th century. Brazil is today one of the main producers with recognized quality and know-how, descending from the traditions of the Japanese people. Today the three main pepper growing areas are Para, Bahia and Espirito Santo but the State of Para remains the largest producer of pepper in Brazil. ORGANIC black pepper has a rich and complex flavor with incomparable aromatic power. On the nose, we detect woody and lemony notes with a hint of coriander and anise.
