The two Swabians live in the countryside in Bittelbronn. Between the Swabian Alb and the Black Forest you have two well-known gourmet regions right on your doorstep. The family with two children loves fresh local food and values a healthy and tasty diet. This includes a passion for herbs and spices. In their own kitchen they are always trying out new recipes for Land & Schmecker.
Caraway grows in Baden-Württemberg
Regionality is the top priority at Land & Schmecker. The factory sources most of its ingredients from the immediate surroundings. There is a lot of agriculture in Baden-Württemberg. For Nadine and Christian, there is no question of getting caraway from Asia when it grows right around the corner. They prefer to know the producers of their raw materials personally. The family-run farms grow the plants carefully. They are only harvested when the herbs have their optimal aroma. This is how the manufacturer guarantees an aromatic taste. Nadine and Christian are convinced that quality can be seen and tasted.

Over 8,000 farmers, beekeepers and winegrowers from Germany and South Tyrol are committed to ecologically compatible agriculture. They operate in harmony with nature in order to preserve the earth as a basis for people's livelihood. Land & Schmecker is also a supporter of the Slow Food Initiative.

Nadine and Christian still have many ideas for new products. They want to make Land & Schmecker a well-known gourmet manufacturer from their own gourmet region. In their home kitchen, the Land & Schmecker family uses mixtures depending on the season. In summer they prefer barbecue spices, while in winter cinnamon and tonka beans are popular. The two currently recommend Land & Schmecker with Aronia. Aronia Cheese Magic tastes great as a spread.
