Beer IPA Curnonsky brasserie Angevine 33 cl

Type of beer: INDIA PALE ALE (IPA) is a style of top-fermented bung beer of English origin. According to legend, IPAs were developed in the 18th century to supply the British colonial troops in India, as the beer did not support the sea crossing. Brewed in Angers: A beer with character for a colorful character: Maurice Edmond Sailland, born in Angers on October 12, 1872 into a family of merchants on Avenue de Contades, was a journalist, advertiser (creator of the MICHELIN® bibendum), writer and food critic under the name of Curnonsky. After creating the Academy of Gastronomes the following year, in 1947 he founded the magazine “Cuisine et vin de France”. He died accidentally on July 23, 1956 from a fall from his Parisian home.
