Habanero is the hottest pepper in Mexico. The only one with Denomination of Origin in the Yucatan Peninsula that includes the states of Yucatan, Campeche and Quintana Roo, where they are experts in its cultivation and use. Rated between 100,000 and 350,000 on the Scoville scale. They are used in many sauces and dishes such as "Cochinita Pibil", "Papadzules" or "Panuchos".
