Sicilian Pecorino with black pepper, first matured, is a cheese with an ancient history and a unique taste. Produced with whole Sicilian sheep's milk and enriched with black peppercorns, this cheese represents the excellence of the Sicilian cheese tradition. Features: Shape: Cylindrical, with flat sides and a thin straw-yellow rind. Weight: Variable, generally from 250 g to 1 kg. Paste: Soft, compact, ivory white in color with small scattered holes. Flavor: Tasty, intense, with spicy notes of black pepper that harmonize perfectly with the sweetness of sheep's milk. Fragrance: Pleasant, with notes of spontaneous herbs, fresh milk and black pepper. Refining: 10 to 20 days. Pairings: Antipasti: Perfect alone or with fresh figs, honey or jams.
