Serras del Priorat, white wine, Clos Figueras

75cl bottle Serras del Priorat is a red wine from the D.O. Priorat produced by Clos Figueras, a winery located in the town of Gratallops. In this area, the climate is temperate, hot and dry Mediterranean. This wine is a blend of the Garnacha Blanca varieties from vines between 5 and 10 years old. The vineyards are planted between 400 and 700 meters above sea level, on extremely poor slate soil. The harvest is carried out in boxes of 15 kg. After selecting the grapes on the selection table in the winery, fermentation is carried out in 1,000-liter tanks, during 6 months of aging in steel tanks. Serras del Priorat remains in second-year French oak barrels from 300 to 500l for seven months. Serras del Priorat is a wine with excellent value for money.
