Colombia Popayan - 350g - Espresso/Filter - 100% Organic

In southern Colombia, three Andean mountains find their way back to become one mountain range, creating a junction. Shortly before this junction is the city of Popayán, the capital of the province of Cauca. Its altitude, proximity to the equator and the surrounding mountains (the Meseta de Popayán) ensure a very stable climate and rich volcanic soils. And therefore a very attractive environment for growing coffee. This coffee comes from the Asociación de Caficultores Ecológicos del Cauca (ACEC). This cooperative has about 500 affiliated farmers. All these farming families live in the region and grow coffee on 0.5 to 1.5 hectares of land. The cooperative provides training to these coffee farmers to improve the quality of the coffee, reduce their impact on the environment and allow these farmers to be certified organic. Taste description: dark chocolate, full body, slightly fruity. Gives a full sweet espresso, perfect for latte or cappuccino.
