Appearing on Earth 156 million years ago, Ceratosaurus was one of the wildest carnivores of its time. This robust and powerful dinosaur could measure up to 6 meters long, 2 meters high and weigh around 800 kilograms. Solitary by nature, it rarely hunted in packs, preferring small groups of two individuals and using its front legs to capture its prey. The species disappeared 144 million years ago following the appearance of a formidable predator: the allosaurus.
