Ideal for seasoning a pasta dish or grilled vegetables. The producer: The Mirogallo family is a farming family in Basilicata, the southern Italian region between Puglia and Calabria. Their farm, Masseria Mirogallo, sits on 70 hectares of land south of the city of Matera. The surrounding area is known as Lucana, a very fertile valley dotted with family farms, locally called "Masseria". Committed to benevolent ecology, they cultivate all their fruits and vegetables using sustainable agriculture, harvest them by hand and immediately process them using ancestral methods that only use natural preservatives (salt, vinegar, olive oil).
