Cultivated for a long time in Europe, India and China, it is used for its rather characteristic anise flavor. Its seeds are used for the preparation of drinks and desserts, while its very aromatic stems and bulb are used as a seasoning. Use: Food flavoring (FEMA n°: 2483 / CoE n°: 200n) Indicative dosages for 100 grams of preparation: 1 to 2 drops are enough to flavor your preparations Always use the essential oil diluted in a suitable medium (e.g. vegetable oil , honey, etc. Soluble in alcohol, fatty substances (vegetable oils and butters) and creams (emulsions). Insoluble in water. It is however possible to use it as a mixture in these types of products but pre-mixed with Solubol (in this case it is necessary to put 4 times more solubol than essential oil).
