Jasmine tea is a green tea flavored with jasmine flowers. Its origins lie in the Song Dynasty, which was the ruling dynasty in the Chinese Empire from 960 to 1279 – but today jasmine tea is a popular drink in China. Jasmine Pearls, also called Zhen Zhu, are considered to be particularly high quality. For a long time, this tea was an imperial tribute tea, i.e. a particularly high-quality tea that was presented to the Chinese emperors as a tribute. For centuries, Zhen Zhu green tea has been wilted and then rolled by hand to produce it. Then a layer of green tea and a layer of jasmine flowers are spread out; when heat is applied, the jasmine flowers open and release their noble aroma. The jasmine flowers are then separated from the green tea again, but depending on the desired aroma intensity, the process can be repeated with fresh jasmine flowers. The tea has a gentle, fruity and floral taste. Preparation: Use approx. 10 grams of Jasmine Pearls per liter of water. UPour about 80 degrees hot water over the tea and let it brew for 2-3 minutes. Multiple infusions are possible. The ingredients of jasmine tea include fluorine, magnesium, potassium, copper, nickel, caffeine, tannins, saponins, essential oils and vitamins A, C and B1. Ingredients: Green tea, jasmine flower flavor. Always store in a cool, dry, airtight and lightproof place. When stored correctly, the tea will last approx. Shelf life 24 months.
