My grandmother was telling me the stories about Gabrielle Chanel and Sophia Loren.
My grandmother was my idol. She was the most elegant woman that I know, always with lipstick on and in classy dresses with amber jewellery, pearls and a great perfume.
She gave me her elegance and manners. She also taught me how to design tea.
I had a very happy childhood. I remember collecting herbs from the mountain near my house with my grandmother. The days were passing by picking linden from trees, lemon balm, thyme, lavender, and calendula from the fields. After coming back home in the afternoon, we were spreading the collected herbs in our sunny living room to let them dry for a few days. The aroma was everywhere. It was like the mountain fields came to our house. When properly dried, we would store them in glass jars and use them throughout the rest of the year.
This is how my tea fairy tale began.
