Gose Kiwi Timut offers a beautiful balance between minerality and acidity. It is a refreshing beer with aromas of kiwi and grapefruit (Timut) with lemony and iodine notes. Alc. 4.5% 100% French Hops 100% Local Malts The idea for this beer came to me in January during the peak kiwifruit season. I wanted to work with a locally produced fruit. Meeting Local en Bocal, a company near me that processes oversized organic fruits and vegetables, made up my mind. They transformed the downgraded kiwis into fruit puree for me to add to the beer. The Gose style seemed obvious to me because the kiwi has a nice acidity that is different from the citrus fruits that we find more traditionally. So the acidity of the kiwi goes well with the acidity of the beer. Timut, with its grapefruit flavors, gives fullness to the whole. Here is a 100% local beer, both in terms of its ingredients and its connection with local economic players. It is truly the symbol of what our ROQUEPERTUSE range represents.
